- Right to Healthcare Access: Every patient has the right to receive timely and appropriate medical care.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: Patients will be treated with respect and without discrimination based on age, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, or disabilities.
- Right to Dignity and Privacy: Patients are entitled to a safe and private environment during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Right to Confidentiality: Medical records and personal information will be kept confidential and secure.
- Right to Participate in Care Decisions: Patients have the right to be involved in decisions about their treatment and care.
- Right to Clear Information: Patients will be informed about the benefits, risks, and expected outcomes of treatments in an understandable manner.
- Right to Informed Consent: Consent will be obtained before any procedure, surgery, or treatment. If the patient is unable to consent, their nearest relative will be consulted.
- Right to Cost Transparency: Patients will be informed about the estimated cost of treatment and hospital payment policies.
- Right to Know Care Providers: Patients have the right to know the names and roles of the doctors, nurses, and healthcare team members involved in their care.
- Right to a Second Opinion: Patients may seek a second opinion regarding their diagnosis or treatment plan.
- Right to Accept or Refuse Treatment: Patients can accept or reject medical treatment after being informed of the consequences. The hospital is not responsible for outcomes resulting from refusal of treatment.
- Right to Medical Records: Patients can request a copy of their medical records, which will be provided within 3 working days as per hospital protocol.
- Right to Voice Concerns: Patients can express complaints or grievances and expect them to be addressed promptly and fairly.
Patient Responsibilities
- Provide Accurate Information: Share complete and accurate personal and family health information for proper care.
- Participate in Care Decisions: Actively participate in decisions about your treatment and follow the agreed-upon care plan.
- Ask Questions: Seek clarification if you do not understand any information or instructions.
- Inform About Transfers: Notify your doctor if you wish to transfer care to another provider or facility.
- Respect Others: Be considerate of other patients and healthcare providers.
- Follow Hospital Rules: Adhere to hospital policies, including those on security, smoking, noise, and visitor limits. The hospital is a non-smoking zone, and intoxicants are strictly prohibited.
- Settle Financial Obligations: Accept financial responsibility for services rendered and settle bills promptly.
- Report Changes in Condition: Inform your healthcare provider if your condition worsens or does not improve as expected.
- Respect Privacy Policies: Cooperate with hospital policies to maintain the confidentiality of medical records.
- Attend Follow-Ups: Attend follow-up appointments as recommended by your healthcare provider.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the hospital premises clean. Relatives are not permitted to wash clothes on the premises.
- Avoid Prohibited Activities: Refrain from spitting, smoking, consuming alcohol, or chewing tobacco/gutka/pan on hospital premises.
- Conserve Resources: Use energy and water responsibly and support eco-friendly practices.
- Follow Treatment Plans: Adhere to the treatment plan recommended by your healthcare providers.
- Safeguard Belongings: Take responsibility for your personal belongings during your stay.
